Blewett Pass on Highway 97 has reopened in both directions north of the summit, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
Highway 97, which connects Interstate 90 and Highway 2, was closed about 13 miles north of the summit for several hours Wednesday due to a fatal collision.
A pickup occupied by a driver and two passengers was traveling south when it lost control and crossed the center lane, colliding into a semitruck traveling north.
A passenger in the pickup died from their injuries, and the other passenger was transported to Central Washington Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
No other details were immediately available.
