Chris Laird’s new novel, Origins 4: The Rise Of Mykia has finally arrived. It had an original release date for May but had to be pushed back to September. Laird is excited about this new book and is happy to finally deliver it to his audience. The best-selling series has evolved, and so have the characters. Many fans of the series love the diversity of the characters and how fun they are to read about. Xona Bari, the series flagship character, is the most fascinating of all of them. She has propelled the series to spectacular heights and is the reason that this series is as successful as it is. ORIGINS 4 is about the crew of the Deltacore interstellar military, led by Michael Stratford, who travels back in time to 1953 to search for a particle with limitless power that will save their galaxy, which has been taken over by the U’haran, an alien race that has also gained this special power. Stratford and Xona, a former dictator who has turned good, also have these special abilities, but it is limited. What’s worse, someone is extracting the power from Stratford and Xona, which is killing them. If they do not find the particle soon, they will die and their universe will be taken over. Laird feels that anyone will enjoy this book.

“Anyone can read this book,”Laird continues. “Even though this is part 4 in the series, you can easily read this as a stand alone and pick up what is going on.”

ORIGINS 4 is one of the best science fiction time traveling stories you will ever read. The characters are fun and diverse. The action is also non-stop and just great science fiction.
