Montefiore Premieres Faces of Respect

“RESPECT” which communicates the
Montefiore Excellence standards of behavior

Last December 6, 2007 the carpet was rolled out for more than 70 exceptional associates at the first celebration in honor of Montefiore Faces of Respect. Held in the Moses Food Pavilion, the celebration resembled a world-class movie premiere, complete with traditional concessions including movie popcorn, hot dogs and an assortment of candy. Photos of the names and faces of Montefiore associates nominated by supervisors, peers and patients as “Faces of Respect” were displayed on a big screen as the crowd mingled and enjoyed each other’s company. Each Montefiore associate selected as a Face of Respect was awarded with a certificate and an honorary pin to wear with pride.

The Faces of Respect Program, established by the Appreciation & Recognition Committees at each site (Moses, CHAM, Corporate, Faculty, MMG and HHA) was introduced on the east campus last Fall and, since then, hundreds of Montefiore associates have been nominated for this prominent award. These associates go about their daily jobs exemplifying the behaviors and actions of the Montefiore Excellence Standards of Respect. With exceeding professionalism, these associates give a human face to what Montefiore Excellence is all about.
