Rant and Rave: Reader ruffled by plant-based food prices

RANT AND RAVE Rave to all the restaurants and coffee shops for providing plant-based options for those of us who, either by lifestyle choice or for health reasons, have given up animal products. Rant to the same restaurants and coffee shops for charging more for the plant-based items even when the actual cost is equal to or many times less than for their animal counterparts. Soy milk and almond milk do not cost more than dairy milk so quit charging more!

RANT to people who don’t understand the purpose of their car’s headlights. They serve TWO purposes: for the driver to clearly see the road and for other drivers to see them! If your car doesn’t have auto headlights and you see three cars coming toward you with their lights on, turn yours on. By the way, brights are NEVER needed on the freeway, especially in the daytime.
