Rant and Rave: Reader thanks people who ‘express kindness’

RAVE to all who express kindness to those they encounter. It’s free. Be kind, folks!

RANT to drivers who parallel park and then open their car doors into the traffic lane without checking first for oncoming cars. To add insult to injury, the offending drivers often continue to be completely oblivious even after forcing cars to stop suddenly to avoid hitting the car door.

RAVE to several businesses I went to today. Despite the holiday bustle and everyone being short-handed, I went into four retailers and a takeout lunch place and had the best customer service in each of them. It truly made my day. 

RANT to local news stations. Please, please allow newscasters to sit behind a desk or table! EVERY local network’s news staff look so uncomfortable standing in front of the camera when they give the news.
