American real estate entrepreneur Nathan Phan is known for creating a real estate first time home buyers/sellers youtube channel as well as creating his new startup PropertyFurors.

Who is Nathan Phan?

Nathan Phan who is considered as one of the youngest real estate entrepreneurs, has a youtube channel that aims towards first-time home buyers and sellers as well as creating hsi startup PropertyFurors. This 16- year-old real estate entrepreneur, influencer, and motivational speaker is helping first-time homebuyers to navigate the confusing world of real estate as well as creating different companies to help revolutionize the real estate industry.

Early life

Nathan Phan was born in April of 2005 in Huế city, Vietnam. From a young age, his parents noticed something special about Nathan. At the age of 3, Nathan and his parents moved to Connecticut where he lived for 2 years. At the age of 5, Nathan and his family moved to San Francisco where he lived for nine years. That was when he was first introduced to real estate. This is how he describes the experience in his own words.” “Being able to go to my first open house was a life-changing and eye-opening moment.” “Having lived only in cramped apartments, I was never able to imagine what a house was like, and going inside one was so interesting and intriguing, that was the moment that I knew when I grew up, I would have to be in real estate.” Eventually, they ended up living in another apartment for 9 years.

Nathan has always been thankful to his parents, as they were one of the main reasons that he is a real estate entrepreneur. He also credits his current success to having very encouraging parents and mentors.  Michelle Silverman a realtor in Wexford, PA who one of his closest mentors describes Nathan. “I have never met a kid that is as young and passionate about real estate as Nathan. He is a person that never gives up even if someone shuts him down. He always takes the no’s that he gets and turns it into inspiration and a positive. I’m frequently impressed with his professionalism and willingness to learn and grow.“ Although Nathan became an entrepreneur in real estate accidentally, he has  always dreamed of becoming a business owner and entrepreneur someday.  Nathan’s first business idea came at the young age of 8. It was when he saw a tesla for the first time and he says that “I just stared at it in awe as my friend’s mother explained that it was an electric car. That was when I was thinking, why not solar?” Unfortunately, since Nathan was still very young, he wasn’t able to create the solar-powered car. When he was 10  years old, Nathan had the idea to create a wearable watch that is also a phone for kids so their parents could always know where their child was. After working on it for about 3 years, Nathan unfortunately lost all of his money building an unsuccessful prototype which he had earned from saving his allowance. After that, he couldn’t afford to keep the idea, so he made the hard decision to let that idea go. Even though wounded after the mishap of his previous business venture, Nathan while at lunch in school was gifted a box of Thin Mint girl scout cookies by one of his classmates. Being the young entrepreneur he was, he decided to go around the school asking the students if they would like to buy those cookies at the price of 50 cents each. In late 2019, Nathan and his family moved to Pennsylvania, where Nathan got the life-changing opportunity to help his family find their first home. It was only then that he was truly able to dive deeper into real estate.  One day while he and his parents were looking at the house, he noticed that the majority of the buyers that were looking at that house were completely lost and didn’t know what they were doing. It was then that Nathan got the idea to create a youtube channel that is dedicated to helping first-time home buyers.  

Nathan’s Career

In 2021, a viewer reached out to Nathan and interviewed him on the process of buying a house. That was such a significant moment since he was able to both help more people as well as advertise his Youtube channel.

Currently, Nathan is a high school Junior, and is working on creating a platform for real estate investors called Propertyfurors which is Launching in November of 2022, and is very optimistic about what the future will bring. Besides that, he is now taking periodic gigs to be a motivational speaker as well as a guest interviewee at various events . As a result, Nathan has become a successful entrepreneur and serves as an inspiration for other young entrepreneurs and teens.
